Manufacturing Training Coordinator
Hampton, VA
1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (M–F)
Pay: $30/hour
We’re hiring a Manufacturing Training Coordinator to support onboarding and training efforts in a fast-paced production environment.
This role is very hands-on and works closely with operators, supervisors, and leadership to ensure employees are properly trained and meeting standards.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Support onboarding and training of new and existing employees
- Help track training progress using training matrices and documentation
- Work directly on the shop floor to reinforce standard work processes
- Assist with skills development and coaching employees
- Ensure training aligns with established procedures and guidelines
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support production needs
What They’re Looking For:
- 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing, training or production support
- Experience with onboarding, training or employee development
- Familiarity with training matrices or tracking systems
- Exposure to shop floor operations and standard work
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- SAP or LMS experience is a plus
- Comfortable working hands-on with production teams
- ITAR compliant candidates required (U.S. Citizens only)
