Location: Valley Village, CA (Remote-friendly; LA-based preferred)
Engagement Type: Consultant or Fractional — open to both
Duration: Initial 3–6 month build engagement
Compensation: $4,000–$6,000/month (fractional) | $12,000–$20,000 (project-based)

Founded by attorney and entrepreneur Gina Zapanta, EWG sits at the intersection of professional growth, civic leadership, and community impact. We host events, virtual series, retreats, and partnerships that move women from ambition to action.
EWG is headquartered in Valley Village, CA and is in an active growth phase — expanding our membership, deepening our partnerships, and scaling our reach across Los Angeles and beyond.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a brand architect who has done this before — someone who has built the strategy behind a community-driven, founder-led brand and knows how to make it scale without losing its soul.
This is a build engagement. We have a strong foundation: a defined audience, a clear mission, a growing community, and a founder with real authority. What we need is someone to codify the architecture, sharpen the messaging, and create the systems that let our team execute with consistency and confidence.
What You’ll Build
- Brand architecture — EWG’s positioning within the full brand ecosystem
- Messaging framework — core narrative, voice guidelines, and proof points
- Content strategy — pillars, formats, platform priorities, and membership conversion path
- Partnership positioning — how EWG shows up to corporate sponsors, civic partners, and media
- Growth roadmap — 12-month brand priorities with clear milestones
What We’re Looking For
You’ve done this before:
- Scaled a community, membership, or event-driven brand
- Built brand strategy for a founder-led organization
- Connected brand to revenue — not just awareness
- Worked within mission-driven or purpose-led contexts
- LA-based or deeply LA-fluent
How you work:
- You protect the founder’s voice, not replace it
- You build systems teams can actually use
- You’re comfortable with ambiguity and a fast pace
- You think in ecosystems, not one-off campaigns
- You can move from strategy to execution when needed
Engagement & Compensation
- Engagement type: Project-based or fractional ongoing — open to both
- Initial scope: 3–6 month build engagement
- Fractional retainer: $4,000–$6,000/month
- Project-based: $12,000–$20,000 depending on scope
