Role Overview:
As the Manager, FP&A;, you will play a critical role in managing the financial reporting, budget tracking, and financial modeling efforts at the company. Your responsibilities will include preparing and presenting financial reports to investors and founders, handling ad-hoc reporting requests, and coordinating with the outsourced accounting vendor to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Build financial models and scenario plans to support business and leadership decisions.
- Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for founders and investors.
- Lead MIS, periodic close processes, and audit coordination.
- Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards and US GAAP to support audit-quality reporting.
- Manage statutory requirements and cross-entity finance coordination across India and US entities.
- Own cash flow planning, liquidity visibility, and banking coordination.
- Support strategic analysis and cross-functional budgeting inputs across teams.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a start-up or mid-size company.
- Solid proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
- Excellent knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting processes.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial software/tools.
