About the Role

Elite Income Advisors is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. This is a critical role within our finance department, working directly with firm leadership to ensure financial accuracy, tax compliance, and strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, a client-service mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

Tax Guidance & Compliance

Provide comprehensive federal, state, and local tax guidance for the firm and its clients
Prepare and review corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns
Monitor changes in tax legislation and advise leadership on implications and planning opportunities
Manage tax audits, correspondence with tax authorities, and resolution of tax disputes

Company Financial Management

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support executive decision-making
Conduct financial analysis and present insights to senior leadership

Internal Controls & Reporting

Establish and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets
Coordinate year-end close processes and liaise with external auditors
Ensure all financial reporting meets regulatory and compliance standards
Support financial due diligence for strategic initiatives and firm investments

Qualifications

Required

Active CPA license in good standing
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
5+ years of progressive accounting or public accounting experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP, federal and state tax codes, and financial reporting standards
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar ERP platforms)
Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with financial modeling

Preferred

Experience in a financial services or investment firm environment
Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or an MBA
Familiarity with SEC reporting requirements or investment fund accounting
