Warehouse Manager
Electric Events DCJob Description
Warehouse Manager – Event Production (AV + Décor)
We are not looking for someone to “help out in the warehouse.”
We are looking for someone to own it.
We are a fast-growing event production company handling high-end AV, lighting, décor, and installations for corporate and social events. When our trucks leave the building, everything has to be right — because there is no second chance once we’re on-site.
If you need reminders, supervision, or a slow pace… this is not the job for you.
What You’ll Own
- Full responsibility for warehouse operations
- Pulling, packing, and prepping gear for events — accurately and on time
- Ensuring trucks are loaded correctly based on event priorities and load order
- Managing returns, organization, and inventory flow
- Making sure gear is tested, charged, clean, and event-ready
- Maintaining a clean, organized, efficient warehouse
- Leading warehouse staff and freelancers when needed
- Identifying problems before they happen — and fixing them
What Matters (Non-Negotiables)
- Extreme attention to detail — small mistakes = big problems in our world
- Punctuality — if you’re not early, you’re late
- Ownership mentality — you don’t wait to be told what to do
- Urgency — events don’t wait, and neither do we
- Accountability — if something is missed, you fix it
- Common sense + problem solving under pressure
Experience We’re Looking For
- Warehouse management (preferably in events, AV, staging, or rentals)
- Experience with loading trucks, logistics, and inventory systems
- Familiarity with AV gear, lighting, or event equipment is a major plus
- Experience leading teams and holding people accountable
What This Job Is (And Isn’t)
This is:
- Fast-paced
- Hands-on
- Sometimes long hours before big events
- High responsibility
This is NOT:
- A clock-in / clock-out job
- A “do what you’re told” role
- A place for excuses
The Right Person
You take pride in running a tight ship.
You notice what others miss.
You don’t leave things half-done.
You understand that execution is everything.
Compensation
- Competitive salary based on experience
- Opportunity to grow into a key leadership role as the company scales
To Apply
Send a short note explaining:
- A time you caught a mistake before it became a problem
- A time you had to take ownership of a situation that wasn’t “your fault”
- Why you think you can run this warehouse better than anyone else
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
Benefits
- Flexible schedule
Work Location: In person
