Lab Technician / Testing Engineer - Building Material Testing Div.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory and field testing of building materials such as cement, concrete, aggregates, steel, bricks, blocks, soil, asphalt, and related products as per applicable standards.
• Prepare, identify, handle, and test samples while ensuring compliance with testing procedures and quality requirements.
• Record observations, maintain test data, and assist in preparation of test reports.
• Operate, maintain, and conduct routine checks of laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, sample traceability, and adherence to laboratory safety practices.
• Follow SOPs, quality systems, and accreditation requirements (ISO/IEC 17025).
• Coordinate with laboratory personnel and clients to ensure timely completion of testing assignments.
• Support audits, proficiency testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Qualifications: Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Material Science, or a related field.
• Skills Required
• Knowledge of building material testing procedures and standards.
• Good analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and laboratory record management.
• Relevant experience in a building material testing laboratory preferred.

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
