Junior Architect / Interior Designer

As a motivated Junior Architect / Interior Designer at Eighty8 Studio, your role will involve supporting design development, working drawings, and 3D visualisation for residential and commercial projects. You will need to maintain a strong balance between technical accuracy and visual communication.

• Prepare detailed working drawings, GFC drawings, and execution sets
• Develop 2D drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and details
• Create 3D models and high-quality visualizations for presentations
• Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and site execution teams
• Incorporate revisions and ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations

You must have advanced proficiency in the following software:

• AutoCAD for detailed working drawings and execution documentation
• SketchUp for 3D modeling and design development
• D5 Render / Enscape for producing high-quality, realistic renders for client presentations

Candidates are required to have strong, hands-on experience with the above tools. Profiles lacking proficiency in these will not be considered.

You should possess the following skills and attributes:

• Sound understanding of construction detailing and materials
• Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings
• Strong attention to detail and execution quality
• Effective communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field
• Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools
• 12 years of relevant experience preferred
