Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Utility Maintenance Engineer responsible for handling utility operations, preventive maintenance, and breakdown maintenance activities in the plant. The candidate will ensure smooth functioning of utility systems and support uninterrupted production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain utility systems including:
- DG Sets,
- Compressors,
- STP,
- RO Plant,
- Softener Systems,
- HT/LT Panels.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of utility and plant equipment.
- Monitor utility parameters including power, water, air, and diesel consumption.
- Handle basic electrical troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
- Support maintenance of utility equipment, pumps, motors, and related systems.
- Maintain maintenance logs, shift reports, and utility records.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for smooth plant operations.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, SOPs, GMP, and 5S practices.
- Support audits, inspections, and maintenance planning activities.
- Minimize downtime through timely troubleshooting and maintenance support.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / ITI in Electrical or Mechanical.
- 2–4 years of experience in:
- Utility Maintenance,
- Plant Maintenance,
- Manufacturing Industry.
- Basic knowledge of:
- DG Operation,
- Compressors,
- STP/RO Systems,
- Electrical Troubleshooting,
- Preventive Maintenance.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and industrial environments.
- Good troubleshooting and coordination skills.
