Job Description

This role is part of our ET/UT product line.

The incumbent of this position is actively involved in the development of new products as well as the improvement of existing products. These products are mainly electromagnetic inspection equipment.

As Electronic Technician, you must be able to

  • Collaborate with the R&D team for new product development.
  • Perform manual modifications on engineering boards.
  • Debug defective cards from the R&D team.
  • Support the different R&D groups with prototypes.
  • Participate in the entry of electronic schematics and the verification of printed circuit boards.
  • Document the manufacture of assembled products (assembly procedure, test procedure, bill of materials, drawings).
  • Ensure the transfer of new products to production (training on new products, relevant documentation, supervision of the integration of new products into production).
  • Update production documentation when changes occur.
  • Adhere to all company security policies and procedures.

What Makes You An Asset To Our Team

College diploma in electronics or related discipline.

Minimum Of Ten Years Of Relevant Experience.

Intermediate English.

Autonomous, rigorous and detail-oriented.

Customer and customer service oriented.

Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Knowledge of non-destructive inspection (NDT) techniques is an asset.

Knowledge of Altium software is an asset.

Ability to write procedures in a clear, concise manner and to popularize methods and concepts.

Excellent ability to manage priorities.

Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
