Production Manager - Sheet metal background

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all production activities in the manufacturing unit. This role involves ensuring timely execution of production plans, maintaining quality standards, managing factory staff, and coordinating with various departments such as Design, Purchase, and Quality Control.

Key Duties:

Planning and scheduling daily production tasks based on orders and deadlines.

Supervising carpenters, polishers, helpers, and machine operators on the factory floor.

Ensuring production targets are met efficiently with minimal waste and rework.

Monitoring the quality of finished products as per company standards.

Coordinating material availability and resolving production delays.

Maintaining factory equipment and ensuring safe working conditions.

Reporting daily progress and challenges to senior management.

Skills & Experience:

5+ years of experience in wood/furniture manufacturing.

Strong understanding of furniture production processes, materials, and machinery.

Ability to manage teams and resolve day-to-day production issues.

Good communication, leadership, and planning skills.

Familiarity with technical drawings, production timelines, and quality control.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
