Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented candidate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering design and estimating in residential high-rise and commercial projects. This is a full time role, the selected candidate will be responsible for performing technical drawings and computer-aided design (CAD) tasks. They will review design documents, prepare detailed schematic and sleeving drawings for the site team, work with consultants, identify potential VE savings, and support estimators in material and labour take-offs.
Qualifications
- Technical drawings, Communication, and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills
- Experience in mechanical engineering design
- Must have minimum 5 years experience in residential high-rise and commercial projects
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Estimating take-offs
- Use of Accubid Bidwinner software
- Ability to work effectively in team environment
- Degree/diploma in mechanical engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in mechanical systems and design in the construction field
