Job Description

As we scale, we need a senior-level Cloud Engineer who can own and elevate our AWS operations. Our cloud setup works well, but it needs a pro to make it world-class. Please only apply if you meet the requirements!

Responsibilities

Take full ownership of AWS infrastructure across multiple accounts
Engineer, optimize, and secure cloud-based applications and services
Monitor system performance, resolve issues quickly, and ensure high availability
Automate deployments and routine tasks using IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Work closely with DevOps, security, and development teams to enforce best practices
Lead disaster recovery, backups, and business continuity planning
Guarantee compliance with security and regulatory requirements
Provide technical leadership and clear documentation to internal teams

Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

Minimum 7 years of hands-on AWS experience (EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, VPC, etc.)
Professional-level AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, DevOps Engineer – Professional)
In-office work required in Montreal (this is not a remote role)
Deep expertise in cloud architecture, networking, and security (WAF, IAM policies, etc.)
Strong automation experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Skilled with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, etc.)
Excellent problem-solving ability and communication skills
