SRE Cloud & Network Engineer (AWS & Hybrid Networking)

Job Summary

Were looking for a Cloud & Network Engineer with strong handson experience in AWS and hybrid networking. The role focuses on designing, securing, and operating enterprisescale networks across AWS and onprem environments. He willl work closely with cloud, security, and DevOps teams to ensure reliable connectivity, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage AWS networking (VPCs, routing, NAT/IGW, Transit Gateway, VPC peering)
• Architect and operate hybrid connectivity using Direct Connect and SitetoSite VPN
• Support onprem network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, load balancers, and data centers
• Design scalable multiaccount and multiVPC network architectures
• Monitor and optimize network performance, bandwidth, and latency
• Support cloud migrations and hybrid network operations
• Troubleshoot complex routing, connectivity, DNS, latency, and MTU issues
• Configure and support TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and L4/L7 load balancing
• Implement network security using security groups, NACLs, segmentation, and routing controls
• Automate AWS networking with Terraform and integrate with CI/CD pipelines
• Perform incident response, root cause analysis, and participate in oncall rotation
• Work in Linux environments using diagnostics, shell scripting, and basic DevOps practices
• Support firewall policy design, audits, and compliance requirements

Required Skills

• Strong experience in AWS networking and hybrid architectures
• Solid understanding of routing, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and load balancing
• Handson experience with Terraform and Linux
• Strong troubleshooting and operational mindset

Preferred

• AWS certifications
• Experience in largescale or enterprise cloud environments
• Exposure to DevOps or SRE operating models
