Join us to be a part of this transformative journey, where your impact will shape the future of technology and production.</div><h2>Purpose</h2> Divergent is hiring an Advanced Manufacturing Production Specialist to coordinate materials, tooling, and workflows across the production floor, ensuring efficient operations, minimal downtime, and on-schedule output in a high-precision aerospace environment. The role acts as a link between machining, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams, resolving constraints and prioritizing work orders while monitoring production status, tracking inventory and tooling, and identifying bottlenecks <h2>The Role</h2> <ul> <li>Help coordinate daily production activities to ensure alignment with manufacturing schedules and on-time delivery commitments.  </li> <li>Ensure the availability of tooling, materials, and work instructions prior to job release to minimize downtime and production interruptions.  </li> <li>Assist with managing and tracking work orders through ERP/MRP systems, maintaining accurate and up-to-date production status.  </li> <li>Monitor tooling inventory and usage, support tool crib operations, and initiating replenishment or replacement as needed.  </li> <li>Identify and proactively help address production bottlenecks.  </li> <li>Assist with production planning activities, including job sequencing, capacity considerations, and resource allocation.  </li> <li>Maintain accurate documentation, including digital travelers, inspection records, and production logs, in accordance with company requirements.  </li> <li>Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and supporting process optimization efforts. </li> </ul>   <h2>Basic Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls </li> <li>High school diploma (or equivalent) or relevant aerospace/precision machining experience  </li> <li>1+ year of administrative or production support experience minimum in a manufacturing environment  </li> <li>Strong organizational, multitasking, communication, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail  </li> <li>Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven production settings  </li> <li>Familiarity with CNC machining, blueprint reading, tooling, and production workflows  </li> <li>Basic knowledge of aerospace standards (AS9100) and FAA regulations  </li> <li>Experience with ERP/MRP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel for scheduling, tracking, and data analysis  </li> <li>Ability to manage and track work orders, inventory, and tooling availability </li> </ul> <h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>Experience in aerospace manufacturing environments (tight tolerances)   <ul> <li>Knowledge of First Article Inspection (FAI) & Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma principles  </li> </ul> </li> <li>Certification or training in:   <ul> <li>APICS / supply chain fundamentals  </li> </ul> </li> <li>Prior experience in:   <ul> <li>Tool crib management  </li> <li>Production control  </li> <li>Inventory systems </li> </ul> </li> </ul> <h2>Work Environment</h2> <ul> <li>This role operates in a fast-paced, high-mix production environment where priorities can shift rapidly based on engineering changes, supply chain constraints and Program milestones.
