Job Description

As an Operations Head at India's Healthcare Ltd, you will play a crucial role in leading and scaling end-to-end operations across the retail pharmacy and healthcare verticals. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading overall operations for the retail pharmacy / healthcare business
  • Driving operational excellence across stores, warehouses, and regional operations
  • Designing and implementing SOPs, process improvements, and compliance frameworks
  • Ensuring smooth coordination between supply chain, procurement, sales, finance, and IT teams
  • Overseeing inventory management, shrinkage control, and cost optimization
  • Monitoring store performance, productivity, and service quality metrics
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance with drug control, healthcare, and statutory norms
  • Managing large cross-functional teams and senior operational managers
  • Supporting business expansion, new store launches, and process scalability
  • Providing regular MIS, dashboards, and operational insights to top management

Qualifications required for this role include:

  • Graduate / Postgraduate (MBA Operations / Healthcare Management preferred)
  • Strong exposure to Retail Pharmacy or Healthcare sector is mandatory

Candidates with 15 to 20 years of overall experience in Operations, including a minimum of 8 to 10 years in a senior leadership role, along with proven experience in managing large-scale retail pharmacy or healthcare operations will be preferred. Exposure to multi-location / pan-India operations is considered a strong advantage.
