Seeking individual with experience in all facets of excess and surplus underwriting who can manage new and renewal submissions focused on Specialty Contractors exposures and ensure underwriting portfolio is profitable, compliant, and sustainable.

Activities:

• Prospect and underwrite new business within level of authority and assigned distribution channel.
• Select, evaluate, approve, modify, or decline risks based on company's appetite and profitability.
• Recommend modifications to program structure, services, and pricing to achieve a balanced and profitable portfolio.

Qualifications

• Extensive underwriting expertise with excess & surplus products and strong analytical abilities.
• Experience developing and maintaining relationships with clients, brokers, and agents.
• Proven success growing and managing a profitable book.
