Position Overview
DGS Group is looking for a knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and execution-focused Legal Advocate with prior experience in real estate and redevelopment matters. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in legal documentation, agreement drafting, title verification, redevelopment coordination, and handling real estate legal compliances within the Mumbai market.
The role requires a professional capable of independently managing legal documentation, coordinating with consultants and authorities, and ensuring timely legal execution across ongoing and upcoming redevelopment projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and vet legal agreements, notices, and documentation
- Handle redevelopment-related agreements, society documentation, and legal coordination
- Conduct title verification and property due diligence
- Manage registration processes, legal notices, and compliance documentation
- Coordinate with external advocates, consultants, and government authorities
- Support management in litigation, dispute handling, and legal strategy matters
- Ensure compliance with RERA, redevelopment regulations, and applicable legal frameworks
- Maintain legal MIS, documentation records, and case tracking systems
- Assist in closure-related legal documentation and customer agreement processes
- Coordinate with CRM, Sales, Liaisoning, and Management teams for smooth execution
Required Candidate Profile
- 3 to 8 years of experience in real estate legal work
- Prior redevelopment experience is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of property documentation and agreement drafting
- Experience in title verification, society redevelopment matters, and registration process
- Working knowledge of RERA, redevelopment regulations, and construction-related legal compliances
- Strong coordination, negotiation, and documentation skills
- Ability to work in deadline-driven and execution-focused environment
- English communication and professional drafting skills are mandatory
Preferred Candidates
Candidates residing nearby or Western Line candidates preferred.
Qualification
- LLB mandatory
- LLM will be an added advantage
