Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Implement new administrative procedures
  • Review and evaluate new administrative procedures
  • Delegate work to office support staff
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
  • Carry out administrative activities of establishment
  • Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
  • Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
  • Perform data entry
  • Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures

Skills

  • Strong administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Knowledge of payroll processing and basic understanding of human resources practices
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with office equipment and ability to troubleshoot basic issues
  • Must have 5+ years of experience .

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Internship / Co-op

Pay: $36.00 per hour

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience

  • Office management: 5 years (preferred)

  • English (preferred)
