The School Counsellor will support the academic, emotional, social, and career development of students in alignment with CBSE guidelines. Key Responsibilities
1. Student Counselling & Support
- Provide individual and group counselling to students for emotional, behavioral, social, and academic concerns.
- Address issues such as stress, anxiety, peer pressure, bullying, and family-related challenges.
- Maintain confidential student records and counselling reports.
2. Career Guidance
- Assist students in identifying career interests, strengths, and goals.
- Conduct career counselling sessions, aptitude assessments, and workshops.
- Guide students on subject selection and higher education opportunities.
3. Preventive & Developmental Programs
- Design and implement life skills programs (as per CBSE guidelines).
- Conduct workshops on mental health awareness, study skills, exam stress management, and personal development.
- Promote a positive school climate and student well-being.
4. Collaboration
- Work closely with teachers to identify and support students with academic or behavioral concerns.
- Engage with parents through meetings and counselling sessions.
- Coordinate with external professionals when specialized intervention is required.

Qualifications & Skills
