About the Role

We are seeking an Academic Content Developer (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on K–12 education, competitive exam preparation, curriculum-aligned content creation, instructional design, and educational reasoning.

In this role, you will evaluate AI-generated educational content related to school curricula, textbook-based learning, STEM concepts, competitive examinations, question generation, and student explanations. Your expertise will help improve AI systems designed for educational content creation, tutoring, assessment generation, and personalized learning.

This position is ideal for educators, academic content developers, subject matter experts, curriculum designers, and experienced tutors with strong knowledge of Indian school curricula and competitive examinations.

Responsibilities

• Create deliverables addressing real-world academic and curriculum-based learning scenarios.
• Annotate and evaluate AI-generated educational content, explanations, practice questions, lesson materials, and assessment solutions.
• Assess AI outputs for curriculum alignment, conceptual accuracy, pedagogical quality, and age-appropriate explanations.
• Evaluate content based on NCERT, CBSE, ICSE, and State Board curriculum standards.
• Review AI-generated explanations for conceptual clarity, logical progression, and suitability for different grade levels.
• Assess question quality for school examinations and competitive exams such as JEE (Main & Advanced) and NEET.
• Verify factual accuracy, curriculum alignment, solution correctness, and educational quality.
• Identify conceptual errors, misleading explanations, incorrect solutions, curriculum gaps, and pedagogical weaknesses in AI-generated outputs.
• Provide structured feedback to improve AI performance in educational content generation and tutoring workflows.
• Review peer-developed deliverables to maintain quality and consistency standards.
• Contribute domain expertise to improve AI systems focused on education, curriculum design, and adaptive learning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Humanities, Commerce, or a relevant academic discipline.
• B.Ed., M.Ed., NET, SET, or equivalent teaching qualification is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in academic content development, curriculum design, teaching, tutoring, educational publishing, or instructional design.
• Demonstrated experience creating or reviewing educational content for K–12 or competitive examinations.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Specific Indian education boards such as CBSE, ICSE, NCERT, or State Boards (please specify the boards and states you have worked with)
• Developing curriculum-aligned educational content and assessments
• Textbook-grounded question and answer creation based on NCERT and State Board textbooks
• Creating educational content for school students and competitive exam aspirants
• Strong understanding of JEE (Main & Advanced) and/or NEET-level concepts, particularly for STEM subjects, with the ability to assess conceptual depth and problem-solving rigor.
• Ability to explain academic concepts clearly in Hindi and/or other regional languages while maintaining conceptual accuracy.
• Demonstrated tutoring or classroom teaching experience, particularly with students preparing for board examinations or competitive entrance exams.
• Excellent written English communication skills.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and educational reasoning.
• Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated educational content for factual accuracy, curriculum alignment, and instructional quality.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with EdTech companies, coaching institutes, schools, educational publishers, or online learning platforms.
• Experience creating content for CBSE, ICSE, State Boards, JEE, NEET, Olympiads, CUET, or other competitive examinations.
• Familiarity with digital learning platforms, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and AI-assisted educational tools.
• Experience writing textbook solutions, question banks, mock tests, worksheets, or study guides.
• Experience in bilingual or multilingual education and vernacular content development.
• Publications or contributions to educational books, learning resources, or curriculum frameworks are an advantage.
