Job description
Dead Frog Brewery is an established, award-winning BC craft brewery with distribution across Western Canada. We're looking for a driven, relationship-focused Territory Manager to grow our presence across BC.
This is a high-impact, field-based sales role covering the a territory in the Lower Mainland or Interior, where you'll build relationships, open new accounts, and expand Dead Frog's footprint across your territory. You'll report directly to the Sales Manager, with room to grow into a larger territory or regional role as you build your book of business.
What You'll Do
Sales and Customer Service
- Grow sales in territory.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with liquor stores, pubs, and restaurants.
- Manage and maintain existing customer relationships to maximize product placement and sales.
- Ensure timely delivery and inventory management at retail locations.
- Achieve sales targets and objectives within the territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, such as bars, restaurants, BC Liquor Stores, and private liquor stores.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Plan sales route and keep CRM system up to date. Report efficiencies to Sales Manager.
Marketing and Brand Promotion
- Promote the brewery's brand and products through various marketing initiatives including in-store promotions, product launches, and beer festivals.
- Plan and execute promotional events, tastings, and brewery visits within the territory.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create marketing materials and campaigns tailored to the local market.
- Drive and develop marketing plan that grows brand, revenue, and traffic in both wholesale and Tasting Room.
- Monitor and maintain social media content creation strategy and contribute when needed.
Market Analysis and Reporting
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and consumer preferences to develop informed strategies.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and territory activities to management.
Customer Training and Education
- Educate Liquor Store personnel on the Dead Frog's products and story.
- Conduct training sessions and presentations to enhance product knowledge and sales
What You Bring
- 2+ years of sales experience (CPG/beverage industry preferred)
- Experience selling draft beer is a strong asset
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and organized, comfortable working independently
- Passion for craft beer
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
Compensation & Perks
- The role offers a base salary + OTE based on hitting sales targets.
- Base salary: $50,000-65,000
- Performance bonuses on top of base
