Role Description The Community Outreach Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Nagpur. This role is responsible for planning and executing community outreach initiatives that build awareness, foster relationships, and support dcat Communications’ strategic objectives. On a day-to-day basis, the specialist will engage with community partners, organize events and programs, coordinate outreach campaigns, and represent the organization at community meetings and public forums. The role includes creating clear and inclusive communication materials, managing outreach calendars and project timelines, and tracking engagement metrics to measure impact. The specialist will collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and meaningful community partnerships.

• Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Writing skills to develop clear, inclusive messages and outreach materials.
• Candidates should possess solid Project Management skills to plan, execute, and track multiple outreach initiatives simultaneously.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Experience in community-focused roles within communications, non-profit, public sector, or related fields is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Social Sciences, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Comfort with basic digital tools (email marketing, social media, office productivity software) to support outreach activities.
• Strong organizational skills, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to inclusive and equitable community engagement.
