Duties

• Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to target specific muscle groups and alleviate pain.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs, health conditions, and treatment goals.
• Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to tailor treatments effectively and ensure safe practice.
• Educate clients on self-care strategies, occupational health practices, and pain management techniques to support long-term wellness.
• Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient progress, and any relevant medical information in compliance with clinic policies.
• Ensure a welcoming environment by delivering exceptional customer service and addressing client questions or concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Valid licensure as a Massage Therapist in accordance with state or regional regulations.
• Proven experience in patient service, patient assessment, and delivering various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
• Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and occupational health principles.
• Prior experience working in a medical spa or similar healthcare setting is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends as needed to accommodate client schedules.
