Job Overview
In this role, you will ensure that all products meet our rigorous quality standards by being responsible for the inspection of finished goods. This role involves a solid understanding of inspection, the ability to interpret manufacturing documentation, and proficiency in using a variety of measurement instruments. You will report to the Director of Manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Performs outgoing quality inspections of finished goods.
- Notifies direct supervisor of quality concerns.
- Creates non-conformance reports.
- Perform other duties as required.
Skills
- Quality inspection and manufacturing experience are mandatory.
- Strong understanding of quality control procedures and standards.
- Able to interpret manufacturing documentation including drawings, procedures, jig drawings.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent manual dexterity.
- Experience with inspection basics.
- Have a good understanding of ISO quality standards, RMA and rework protocols.
- Capable of using measurement instrumentation, from calipers to multi-meters.
- Related electronics manufacturing experience and IPC training are an asset.
- Experience in soldering with Lead-Free solder and SMD components preferred.
- Able to work with limited supervision as a member of a team.
- Excellent time management abilities to meet deadlines efficiently.
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Willing to ask and learn in a continuous improvement environment.
- Able to communicate and read effectively in English
