Product Quality Control Inspector

Job Overview

In this role, you will ensure that all products meet our rigorous quality standards by being responsible for the inspection of finished goods. This role involves a solid understanding of inspection, the ability to interpret manufacturing documentation, and proficiency in using a variety of measurement instruments. You will report to the Director of Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Performs outgoing quality inspections of finished goods.
• Notifies direct supervisor of quality concerns.
• Creates non-conformance reports.
• Perform other duties as required.

Skills

• Quality inspection and manufacturing experience are mandatory.
• Strong understanding of quality control procedures and standards.
• Able to interpret manufacturing documentation including drawings, procedures, jig drawings.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent manual dexterity.
• Experience with inspection basics.
• Have a good understanding of ISO quality standards, RMA and rework protocols.
• Capable of using measurement instrumentation, from calipers to multi-meters.
• Related electronics manufacturing experience and IPC training are an asset.
• Experience in soldering with Lead-Free solder and SMD components preferred.
• Able to work with limited supervision as a member of a team.
• Excellent time management abilities to meet deadlines efficiently.
• Strong work ethic with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Willing to ask and learn in a continuous improvement environment.
• Able to communicate and read effectively in English

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
