Role Description The Investor Relations Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Edmonton Metropolitan Area. This role is responsible for managing relationships with current and prospective investors, including preparing and delivering regular portfolio updates, performance reports, and market commentary. The specialist will respond to investor inquiries, coordinate meetings and presentations, and support fundraising activities and capital deployment communications. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining investor databases, drafting investor communications and marketing materials, collaborating with finance and investment teams to ensure accurate reporting, and assisting in the preparation of due diligence documents. The role also involves monitoring market developments relevant to the firm’s real estate investments and providing clear, timely information to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Investor Relations skills, including relationship management and stakeholder communication.
• Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Investments and Finance, including basic financial modeling and portfolio concepts.
• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret data and present insights clearly.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, for reports, presentations, and client interactions.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field; advanced education or professional certifications are an asset.
• Experience in real estate, private equity, or asset management is beneficial.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, presentation software, and CRM or investor management tools.
