At Databricks, we are passionate about enabling data teams to solve the world's toughest problems — from making the next mode of transportation a reality to accelerating the development of medical breakthroughs. We do this by building and running the world's best data and AI infrastructure platform so our customers can use deep data insights to improve their business.
We are the UI Platform team, responsible for enabling all frontend developers at Databricks to build amazing features. We own all aspects of the dev loop, relying on industry-standard technology like Typescript, React, GraphQL, yarn, node and more!
We're seeking a dedicated Engineering Leader for our Developer Experience team. This team is responsible for the entire life cycle of a feature: dev loop, submitting, pushing, monitoring… everything needed to ensure smooth delivery of code from the developer’s head to production!
You will report directly to the Senior Manager of Engineering.

What we look for:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in web frontend development, with a strong preference for React-based applications
- 2+ years leading and managing a high-performing engineering team.
- A passion for infrastructure, tooling, developer productivity, or performance optimization and the ability to drive technical initiatives that improve overall team efficiency and code quality
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and develop engineering talent at various levels
- Ability to drive technical initiatives that improve overall team efficiency and code quality
- Experience in setting and achieving ambitious team goals aligned with company objectives
