Junior Software Developer (Frappe / ERPNext)

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior ERP Developer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about software development, business applications, and process automation.

You will work closely with senior developers and business teams to customize, enhance, and maintain ERP solutions built on the Frappe Framework and ERPNext platform. The role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in ERP development while working on real-world business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain applications using Python and JavaScript.
• Assist in implementing and supporting ERPNext-based business solutions.
• Build and maintain integrations with third-party systems using REST APIs and JSON.
• Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Read, analyze, and extend existing codebases while following established development patterns.
• Create and modify forms, reports, workflows, and custom features within ERP applications.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Participate in testing, debugging, and deployment activities.
• Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Maintain proper documentation for developments and customizations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong fundamentals in Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON-based integrations.
• Basic understanding of Vue.js or willingness to learn quickly.
• Genuine interest in ERP systems, business applications, and process automation.
• Ability to understand existing code structures and extend functionalities effectively.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Comfortable working in an on-site, collaborative team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Frappe Framework or ERPNext through professional, academic, or personal projects.
• Experience with Git and version control workflows.
• Basic understanding of Linux/Ubuntu server environments.
• Familiarity with software development best practices and debugging techniques.
