DASCH Productions is seeking a results-driven Event & Business Development Coordinator to support the execution of corporate and cultural events while actively contributing to the growth of the business through sponsorship and client development.
This is a part-time casual role ideal for someone who thrives in both event execution and relationship-building, and is motivated by performance-based earning potential.

The Opportunity
This is not a traditional coordinator role.
We are looking for someone who can:

Key Responsibilities
Event Execution
- Support event planning, logistics, and coordination
- Execute onsite operations including setup, run-of-show, and teardown
- Liaise with vendors, venues, and stakeholders
- Support guest experience and registration management
Sponsorship & Partnerships
- Identify, outreach, and secure event sponsors
- Develop and pitch partnership opportunities
- Maintain sponsor relationships and ensure deliverables are met
Business Development
- Source and cultivate new client opportunities
- Support proposal development and client pitches
- Convert leads into signed event contracts
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in event coordination (corporate, cultural, or weddings)
- Demonstrated success in:
- Securing sponsorships and/or partnerships
- Generating new business or client leads
- Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Professional, client-facing presence
- Ability to travel within Alberta and work evenings/weekends as required
Compensation
- $25/hour for event support and administrative duties
- 10% commission on all confirmed sponsorship revenue secured
- 20% commission on all new business contracts originated and closed
Commission is paid on signed contracts and received deposits.
