Sales Territory Manager (store representative)

We are looking for a full-time sales territory manager (store representative) for a territory located in the greater Outaouais region (including Mont-Laurier & Lachute).
You will need to be proactive and possess strong communication and relationship-building skills. You will be responsible for maintaining existing accounts within your territory. Your primary task will be to meet or exceed established sales and marketing targets. You will work independently and be part of a seasoned and passionate team dedicated to ensuring the company's growth and profitability and delivering on our Best Choice promise.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Implement Dare Foods Limited's strategic business plans at the retailer level for each client/banner within the assigned territory.
- Develop, implement and maximize an efficient and effective plan for handling visits related to retail businesses in the assigned territory, in accordance with pre-established classifications.
- Effectively use professional and fact-based sales techniques to achieve full distribution (product availability) of all designated products and obtain additional display/stand locations.
- Proactively provide regular information and feedback to the appropriate people regarding successes, challenges, opportunities, and competitive initiatives related to the retail market.
- Establish and maintain strong business relationships with influential people and decision-makers in stores and develop results-oriented promotional presentations
- Maintain a customer database containing various information (e.g., visits, calls, displays obtained, actions taken, follow-up actions, results, etc.)
Requirements
- University or college degree in business or another relevant field, or equivalent sales experience
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills; ability to quickly identify and prioritize key opportunities
- Any knowledge of the retail packaged goods industry or any experience in this field would be considered an asset.
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift loads of at least 35 pounds
- Being able to crouch down to access the bottom shelf in the stores visited
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is a significant asset
