Analyst/Senior Analyst/ Asset Backed Securities (Equity Research)

You will be part of the Asset-Backed Securities team in the Financial Research group at our Bengaluru/Hyderabad office. The team focuses on providing support for new business development and strategy research to enhance decision-making processes for the global Asset-Backed Securities team. Your role will involve fundamental research on specific companies and subsectors in Specialty Finance/CRE, including financial modeling, benchmarking, and attending earnings calls. You will collaborate with the global team on research projects and work closely with technology development teams to aid data analysis efforts.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Perform fundamental research on specific companies and subsectors in Specialty Finance/CRE
• Model and update company financial models
• Conduct benchmarking of operational and valuation metrics versus peer group
• Attend quarterly earnings/management/intermediary calls
• Collaborate on research projects with the global team
• Aid Front Office data analysis efforts by working closely with technology development teams
• *Qualifications Required:**
• Master's degree in finance or CFA with 2-5 years of relevant experience
• Strong financial modeling and accounting skills
• Equity research experience in Specialty Finance sectors, CRE/REITs, and/or Financials
• Working knowledge of structured products such as ABS, CLO, RMBS, CMBS
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical skills, attention to detail, self-motivation, and ability to interact effectively with stakeholders
