We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust backend systems that support our applications and services. The ideal candidate will have experience with modern development practices and a passion for building scalable systems in a cloud environment.
- *Key Responsibilities**
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs that are scalable and efficient.
- Implement microservices architecture to improve system modularity and performance.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues in a timely manner.
- Work with cloud services (Google Cloud, Azure, AWS) for deployment and management of applications.
- Utilize container orchestration tools like Kubernetes for application deployment and scaling.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in coding and architecture.
- *Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in backend development with a focus on C# and .NET Core.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database management systems.
- Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
- Experience with message brokers like Kafka preferred.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and GCP (preferred), AWS or Azure.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
