Robotics Programmer
Location: Ontario, Canada (Travel Throughout North America)
Compensation: Approximately $58-$59/hr CAD ($42/hr USD)
Travel: Company-paid airfare, hotel, rental vehicle, and meals. Weekend return travel provided for qualifying assignments.
About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading automotive automation integrator, is seeking experienced Robotics Programmers to support robotic integration, commissioning, and manufacturing automation projects across North America.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile automotive launch projects while gaining exposure to advanced robotic and automation systems.
Responsibilities
- Program, troubleshoot, and optimize industrial robotic systems
- Support commissioning, startup, and production launch activities
- Modify robot paths and improve cycle times
- Support installation and integration of automation equipment
- Diagnose and resolve robotic and automation-related issues
- Collaborate with engineering, controls, and production teams
- Travel to customer sites throughout North America as required
Requirements
Industrial robot programming experience
Manufacturing automation experience
Commissioning and startup experience
Strong troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently in fast-paced production environments
Willingness to travel extensively
FANUC robot programming
FANUC DCS
FANUC Vision / iRVision
Automotive manufacturing experience
Experience supporting GM, Ford, Stellantis, Magna, or Tier 1 suppliers
ABB, KUKA, or Yaskawa robot experience
Vision system integration experience
