CRY is hiring for the role of Accountant!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Preparing and maintaining financial records, reports, budgets, and audits for its projects
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulations
• Providing advice and guidance on financial management, planning, and reporting
• Developing and implementing accounting systems, procedures, and controls
• Managing monthly timesheets and Invoices
• Performing administrative tasks such as filing, correspondence, data entry, and document management
• Supporting project staff in other areas as needed like Coordinating and facilitating meetings, workshops, trainings, and events
• Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports
• Ensuring compliance with CRY accounting standards and regulations
• Providing guidance and advice on budgeting, forecasting and resource allocation
• Training and mentoring staff on accounting best practices

Requirements

• Should know proper bookkeeping
• Well-versed in MS Office,
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience of working in the social sector.
