Our team of experienced professionals supports growers with comprehensive services in seed, agronomy, agricultural finance, precision agriculture, nutrient management, soil sampling, drone spraying , and liquid fertilizer and crop protection solutions. In addition, we also have a very knowledgeable staff offering crop insurance to further support the farmers.
Position Summary
The Sales Agronomist / Crops Specialist is responsible for developing strong customer relationships while providing agronomic expertise and sales support within an assigned territory. This role combines field scouting, agronomic recommendations, product sales, and customer service to help growers maximize crop performance and profitability.
You will work directly with producers to identify challenges, recommend solutions, and implement strategies that improve crop health and yield.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will possess:
Education
- Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or related field preferred, but not required
- Equivalent industry experience may be considered
- All sales experience will be considered
Certifications / Licenses
- Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
- Ability to obtain and maintain agronomy-related professional certifications
Experience
- Any experience in agriculture, agronomy, or sales-related experience preferred
- Knowledge of production agriculture
- Experience with agronomy products, services, and precision agriculture is preferred
Physical Requirements
Candidates must be able to:
- Travel daily throughout the trade area
- Occasionally stay overnight for business travel
- Walk fields in varying weather and terrain conditions
- Work extended hours during planting, spraying, and harvest seasons
- Be able to lift 50 pounds
