As a Supply Chain Operations Manager, your role involves overseeing various aspects of supply chain planning, optimization, and distribution operations to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create processes and methods to gather, analyze, and interpret supply chain data.
- Identify problematic areas and recommend improvements through data analysis.
- Plan and implement supply chain optimization and continuous improvement projects.
- Develop operational requirements, standards, and best practices.
- Oversee end-to-end DC operations including inbound, outbound, inventory, and returns.
- Ensure accurate stock inwards, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and returns processing.
- Drive improvements in DC and distribution metrics, including Cost per Delivered Shipment (CPDS), while meeting SLA requirements.
- Proactively identify process improvement initiatives leading to measurable performance and cost benefits.
- Conduct recurring analysis to generate ongoing cost-saving opportunities.
- Review existing processes to eliminate waste and implement efficiency improvements.
- Perform root cause analysis on KPI deviations and deploy corrective actions using operating systems and standard procedures.
- Develop, mentor, and motivate DC and Distribution teams to achieve performance goals.
- Ensure safe operating practices and efficient warehouse operations.
- Supervise, train, and monitor warehouse employees through KPI-based performance tracking across all DC functions.
- Work closely with Buying, Ecommerce, and Store Operations teams to optimize the distribution network.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement and enhance supply chain systems and tools.
- Analyze route schedules, load plans, historical activity, and customer trends to improve routing efficiency.
- Assist in developing and implementing effective supply chain solutions.
- Investigate operational pain points and design solutions to resolve inefficiencies and conflicts.
