Senior Accountant
About the Company and Opportunity:
- Our client is a long standing government contractor in Montgomery County.
- Due to a project, they are hiring an Senior Accountant in their Clarksburg, MD. office.
- Position is 100% onsite.
- Free parking!
- Pay: $40-44 per hour
- Schedule: Mon-Fri, 9/80 schedule. Every other Friday off.
- Duration: TBD
Overview of the Senior Accountant role:
- Account, bank, balance sheet reconciliations (June 2024-Present)
- Project closeouts
- Ad hoc project, reporting, entries
Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Government contracting experience is required
- Proficient in MS Excel (Pivot Tables/VLOOKUPs)
- SAP S4/Hana experience is a plus
