Entry Level Accountant

Responsibilities

• Entry Level Accountant will complete data entry in general ledger utilizing Sage Intacct
• Entry Level Accountant will be responsible for AP entries (will be trained on full cycle, once trained in full cycle - checks written once/week, approx. 15 checks/week, but for conferences they do about 30 checks in a week but that's only 3-4x/year)
• Entry Level Accountant will complete AR follow up - customers get automatic email if any balance, but this person will do follow up calls and emails to collect on the accounts receivable
• Entry Level Accountant will reconcile Intacct and Salesforce membership reports using Excel (will be trained)

Requirements

• College degree preferred, but not required for Entry Level Accountant role
• 1-3 years of accounting experience is helpful (will be interacting with staffers throughout the organization)
• Some previous office experience required for Entry Level Accountant role
• Nonprofit experience is a plus, but is not required
• Excel - able to do reconciliation in Excel. Should have basic/good skills, don't need to have VLOOKUP's and pivot tables (can be shown)
