Our manufacturing client is looking for a Videographer for a one-day shoot in the Washington D.C. area.
This role is
- Onsite in the Washington D.C. area
- Just production, no editing required
- 1 Day - Monday, June 8th
Our client is in need of an experienced videographer for an upcoming project in the Washington, DC area. This project would focus on documenting a coating application process and producing a series of instructional how-to videos.
The videographer would be responsible for capturing high-quality footage on-site during the coating application, including step-by-step process shots, close-ups of materials and techniques, and broader environmental/contextual footage. The goal is to create clear, visually engaging content that demonstrates best practices and proper application methods for training and educational use.
Responsibilities include
- Filming on location during a live coating application project
- Collaborating with our internal team to understand key messaging and technical details
- Capturing a mix of wide, medium, and detailed shots to support instructional storytelling
- Recording interviews or voiceovers if needed (e.g., technician explanations or expert commentary)
- No video editing is required*
The ideal Videographer will have:
- Experience filming industrial, construction, or technical processes is strongly preferred, along with the ability to work efficiently in an active jobsite environment.
- Familiarity with lighting, audio capture, and basic post-production for instructional content would also be a plus.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
