Freight Brokerage Coordinator

Hours: 7am-4pm

Comp: $55K-$62K

We’re partnering with a growing logistics organization to identify a Freight Brokerage Coordinator who will play a key role in managing day-to-day brokerage operations and driving efficient, reliable freight movement.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee daily freight brokerage operations, including load booking, carrier assignment, and delivery tracking
• Build and maintain strong carrier relationships to ensure competitive pricing and dependable service
• Partner with customers to understand shipping needs, provide solutions, and resolve issues quickly
• Negotiate rates with carriers and customers to balance profitability and market competitiveness
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations (FMCSA, DOT)
• Maintain accurate documentation and shipment records
• Utilize TMS platforms to track shipments, analyze performance, and improve operational efficiency
• Address operational challenges, including delays, discrepancies, and back-office issues

What We’re Looking For

• 1+ years of experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation management
• Strong understanding of freight markets, carrier networks, and industry regulations
• Experience working across multiple transportation modes
• Proficiency with transportation management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and with clients
• Comfortable escalating complex issues when needed
