Job Description
Toronto-based data intelligence company that turns millions of unstructured public documents into high-value datasets powering infrastructure markets across North America.
Looking for a data professional who can take messy, fragmented data sources and impose structure through solid schema design, standardization, and governance work.
What you'll own:
- Schema design and data modeling across structured and unstructured sources
- Data dictionaries and documentation standards
- Transforming raw, unstructured inputs into clean, queryable datasets
- Collaborating with engineering and product teams on data requirements
What we're looking for
- Solid SQL and hands-on data modeling experience
- Exposure to NoSQL and unstructured data formats (JSON, XML, PDF processing) (REQUIRED)
- GCP or BigQuery experience is a plus
- Comfortable working cross-functionally
- 2-4 years of experience in a data engineering or analytics engineering role
