Role Description The Laboratory Research Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Raipur. The person in this role will support day-to-day laboratory research activities, including preparing samples, setting up experiments, and operating routine laboratory equipment under supervision. Responsibilities include following standard operating procedures (SOPs), maintaining detailed and accurate records of experiments, and assisting in data collection and basic analysis. The role also involves labeling, storing, and disposing of samples according to safety and regulatory guidelines, as well as helping to maintain inventory and a clean, organized work area. The Laboratory Research Assistant will collaborate with scientists and other team members, communicate findings clearly, and adhere to all laboratory safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in laboratory research, with experience assisting in experiments and adhering to standard protocols.
• Proficiency in core laboratory skills, including sample handling, solution preparation, and accurate recordkeeping.
• Ability to operate and care for common laboratory equipment, following usage, calibration, and maintenance guidelines.
• Solid analytical skills for interpreting basic data, identifying anomalies, and supporting troubleshooting efforts.
• Effective communication skills to document work clearly and collaborate with colleagues and supervisors.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Medical Laboratory Technology) or equivalent practical experience.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety practices, quality control principles, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability in following instructions, and ability to manage time in a fast-paced environment.
