Summary
The Client Accounts Compliance Coordinator assists with the high-level review of our clients' billing agreements, engagement letters, and outside counsel guidelines to ensure clients' billing arrangements and guidelines are being executed within the 3E accounting system.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Review and implementation of outside counsel guidelines and engagement letters from clients to ensure billing terms and conditions are set-up and executed in the Accounting database and consistent with our understanding with the client.
- Work closely with the Senior Client Accounts Manager, Senior Client Accounts Compliance Coordinator, Client Agreements team, and Matter Maintenance team regarding daily review, reconciliation, and tracking of pending and finalized client fee arrangements.
- Maintain iManage with new business forms, engagement letters, waiver letters, non-disclosure letters, and other documentation relevant to matter preservation.
- Knowledgeable of client-specific billing requirements and accurate 3E implementation of the corresponding fee arrangements and rate structures.
- Perform monthly and quarterly reporting reconciliation of inactive matters. missing engagement letters, and other reconciliation projects as identified.
- Perform daily review of exception rate reports to ensure correct 3E rate implementation of newly executed rate set-ups.
- Assist with calendar year-end Billing Attorney's rate review process, including reporting and Master Rate Sheet (MRS) updates.
- Research and respond to inquiries as requested. Offer solution options for various situations and actively seek to enhance knowledge of all matter-related arrangements, procedures, and departmental processes.
- Uphold high standards of confidentiality, discretion, and integrity, particularly with respect to all sensitive and/or confidential firm and client information to which this position will have access.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years client accounting/billing experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
- Hands on systems skills with Elite, Excel, Access and similar programs.
- Must have excellent technical skills including MS Office and billing software in a professional services environment, strong communications skills, professionalism and exceptional interpersonal skills.

Workplace Type: Remote (must be local to DC office)
Salary range is $57,000 - $79,000 depending on candidate experience and location.
