Job Description
Job Requirements:
- Implement company programs and manage the operations of the Front Desk Office (Front Desk & Lifeguards) to ensure compliance with SOPs and to ensure an optimal level of quality service.
- Prepare forecasts and reports and assist in the development, implement, and monitor the budget to maximize revenue and minimize expenses while ensuring adequate supplies and staff are on hand to provide top quality customer service.
- Responding and prompt follow up to all guest surveys. Resolve customer complaints; anticipate potential problems by reviewing and monitoring complains, operational issues, business flow and associate performance to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction and quality.
- Manage the Human Resources in the department in order to attract, retain and motivate the employees; hire, train, develop, empower, coach and counsel, conduct performance and salary reviews, resolve problems, provide open communication vehicles, discipline and terminate, as appropriate.
- Liaise with the Sales and to discuss group/ conventions requirements and arrival experience.
- Monitor and maintain the Front Office systems and equipment to ensure their optimum performance.
- Responsible for loyalty program and ensure that all guest who are members are appropriately recognized.
- Payroll administration for all associates.
- Responsible for departmental scheduling, ensuring labor is in line with productivity goals.
- Responsible for handling emergency situations; fire alarms; first aid etc. with proper communication to management and guests.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal skills, exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Requires knowledge of discipline-specific, policies, procedures and services and general knowledge of other departments in the hotel
- Requires supervision/management skills
- Ability to achieve positive guest relations and maximize guest satisfaction
- Ability to handle cash and credit transactions
- Ability to enforce all company rules and SOPs
- Fosse PMS knowledge is preferred
- Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook a must
- Proven ability to perform in a fast paced, high stress, multi-task environment
- Strong customer service presence required
- Calm demeanor required
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests
- No. of employees supervised: Supervise ten to twenty employees.
Work Schedule: Scheduled days and time may vary based on need. Must be able to work various shifts including: mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and/or holidays

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per hour
