Municipal Law Enforcement Specialist

Help ensure community safety as a dedicated Municipal Law Enforcement Officer. Engage in education and enforcement of municipal and provincial regulations, with a focus on public compliance and conflict resolution.

This role requires a strong background in law enforcement and the ability to interpret municipal by-laws. You should possess excellent communication skills to interact effectively with the public and various agencies. Responsibilities include investigating complaints and maintaining compliance while working in a team-oriented and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Enforce municipal and provincial regulations effectively
• Investigate and document compliance-related complaints
• Initiate court proceedings when required
• Work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in relevant fields
• Demonstrated experience in law enforcement
• Valid class G driver’s license required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check mandatory
