Law Enforcement and Regulation Officer

Serve as a Law Enforcement and Regulation Officer, ensuring community safety and compliance with regulations. Utilize strong interpersonal skills while managing public inquiries and conflicts.

This role requires demonstrated experience in law enforcement along with a relevant educational background. You'll research and interpret complex by-laws, engage with community members, and maintain professionalism in a variety of situations. Key duties include investigating complaints regarding municipal regulations and providing educational outreach to promote compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with municipal and provincial regulations
• Investigate complaints related to by-law violations
• Educate the public on regulatory requirements
• Participate in court proceedings as necessary
• Be available for flexible shifts, including weekends

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in Police Foundations or similar
• Practical law enforcement experience
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
• Valid Class G driver's license required
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
