Role Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and passionate Commis Chefs to join our kitchen team at Corridor Seven. The role involves supporting daily food preparation, maintaining consistency in quality, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations during service hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and basic cooking as per SOPs
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning
- Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards (FSSAI guidelines)
- Support senior chefs during peak hours and service rush
- Manage prep work efficiently (cutting, marination, mise en place)
- Minimize wastage and ensure proper storage of ingredients
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Willingness to learn and grow within the kitchen team
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Prior experience in a café/restaurant kitchen is preferred
