Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented CDA II (Certified Dental Assistant II) to join our dental team on a part-time basis, specifically for Saturdays. The ideal candidate will support the dental practice by assisting with patient care and ensuring smooth clinic operations. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working with all age ranges. While this role is initially offered for Saturdays, there will be further opportunities to add more days in the week as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during patient examinations and procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure all dental supplies are stocked and organized.
• Manage sterilization records using Abeldent
• Take radiographs (intraoral and panoramic) and intral oral scans (will train) when necessary.
• Working with different doctors as needed, although the role will largely be tied to one doctor
• Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring patient comfort.
• Maintain compliance with all safety protocols and IPAC standards.

Experience

• An understanding of how routine dental procedures are done and ability to support the workflow
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential. • Experience and comfort assisting on root canal treatments and extractions is highly desirable
