Targeting Officer

<p>THIS POSITION REQUIRES A&nbsp;<strong>CURRENT</strong>&nbsp;<strong>TS/SCI with Polygraph&nbsp;clearances</strong>.<br><br>Core One seeks an experienced Targeting Officers (Levels 2 to 5) to support the US Government in the Northern Virginia area. &nbsp;The candidate will be responsible for supporting collection activities using and manipulating a variety of classified and open source databases. &nbsp;Candidates should have a strong record of achievement in the US intelligence community. &nbsp;<br><br><strong>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong><br>-&nbsp;D​​​​​emonstrate proficiency in manipulating various classified and open source databases in support of the client's mandate to collect and acquire Foreign Intelligence.<br>- Collaborate with a team of intelligence professionals in support of operations against priority targets.<br>- Identify&nbsp;targeting leads to enable a variety of intelligence operations through the exploitation of classified and open source databases.<br>- Evaluate possible counterintelligence concerns, drive operations through written products and briefings, and empower core collectors by producing detailed targeting packages.<br>- Review operational traffic for intelligence leads.<br>- Draft comprehensive targeting packages in support of the client’s objectives.<br>- Engage operational components within the customer organization to address targeting requirements and develop new leads for operational exploitation.<br>- Conduct detailed searches on items of operational interest and relay pertinent data to relevant customer components.<br><br><strong>REQUIRED SKILLS</strong><br>-&nbsp;Experience identifying valid threat targets across various mission AORs and conducting all-source target analysis using multiple tools and databases; minimum of one year experience with IC targeting tools.<br>- Ability to communicate results of targeting efforts in various message formats, including through the preparation of detailed targeting packages.<br>- Demonstrated experience with customer targeting.<br><br><strong>DESIRED SKILLS</strong><br>- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in accounting, business, economics or finance (preferred) or demonstrate strong understanding of global finance through experience or knowledge.<br>- Demonstrated experience using customer messaging system (Required for Level 3 and above).<br>- Minimum of one year of experience working with foreign partners (Required for Level 3 and above).<br>- Minimum of one year of experience providing training or giving presentations to foreign partners (Required for Level 4).<br><br><em><strong>About Core One</strong></em>&nbsp;<br>Our mission is to be at the forefront of devising analytical, operational and technical solutions to our Nation's most complex national security challenges.&nbsp; In order to achieve our mission, Core One values people first and is comprised of outstanding professionals from the national security community.&nbsp; Because Core One is committed to seeking top talent, we offer competitive compensation and benefits packages.
