We are hiring for the position of US Mortgage Underwriting with a reputed organization based in Chennai.
If you have strong experience in Live Underwriting, Post Closing Underwriting, or End-to-End Underwriting and are available for immediate joining, this is an excellent opportunity.
Position: US Mortgage Underwriting
Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years
Location: Chennai (Work from Office)
Shift: US Shift
CTC: 30% hike on current CTC
Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Only
Transport: Both-side cab facility provided
Role Overview:
The role involves handling US Mortgage underwriting operations, including live underwriting, post-closing underwriting, and end-to-end loan assessment while ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines and investor requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Live Underwriting and Post Closing Underwriting for US Mortgage loans
- Handle end-to-end underwriting processes
- Review borrower income, assets, liabilities, and credit profiles
- Perform income calculations for salaried and rental income borrowers
- Handle self-employed income calculations and analysis
- Analyze loan documents to ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines
- Evaluate loan risk and make underwriting decisions
- Review loan conditions and clear stipulations
- Ensure adherence to investor and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with processors, closers, and internal stakeholders
- Maintain productivity, quality, and SLA targets
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in US Mortgage Underwriting
- Strong experience in:
- Live Underwriting
- Post Closing Underwriting
- End-to-End Underwriting
- Income Calculation (Salary & Rental)
- Self-Employed Income Calculation
- Strong understanding of credit analysis and risk assessment
- Experience in handling conventional/FHA/VA loans preferred
- Good analytical and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working in US Shift
