Title: Software Engineer – Full Stack / Test Automation

We are seeking an engineer who is comfortable operating across both development and testing functions, with experience building automation frameworks, full-stack applications, and scalable cloud-based systems. This role requires hands-on experience in test automation, backend development, and modern frontend technologies, along with a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation & Quality Engineering

• Own the automation architecture, including both functional and performance testing frameworks.
• Design, build, and maintain test frameworks and testing infrastructure.
• Develop automation scripts, utilities, simulators, data generators, and API/interface testing tools to validate complex systems.
• Create and execute comprehensive test strategies across multiple integrated systems.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve testing processes, increase efficiency, and enhance automation coverage.
• Participate in independent validation and assurance activities across all SDLC phases.
• Communicate testing progress, results, and risks clearly in both written and verbal formats.

Engineering & Development

• Contribute to full-stack application development, including React or Angular UI development and Java backend services.
• Write high-quality, testable code using modern Java (Java 17+) with unit and integration testing.
• Implement JavaScript and TypeScript-based frontend solutions.
• Design and build REST APIs and distributed services.

Cloud, Infrastructure & Architecture

• Develop and maintain event-driven architectures using AWS services such as SQS, SNS, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions.
• Work extensively with AWS infrastructure, including ECS, EC2, Security Groups, IAM Roles, and DynamoDB.
• Support CI/CD pipeline implementation and optimization using tools such as Maven, Jenkins, and GitHub.

Data & Persistence

• Implement data persistence using JPA/Hibernate with Oracle or PostgreSQL databases.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries.
• Ensure scalable data storage and retrieval solutions.

Collaboration & Problem Solving

• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Actively participate in defect resolution and root cause analysis, including production incidents.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver enterprise-grade software solutions.
• Demonstrate understanding of business domain requirements when designing solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience with Java (Java 17+) and writing testable code.
• Experience developing full-stack applications using React or Angular.
• Proficiency with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL.
• Experience implementing test automation frameworks and testing infrastructure.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and event-driven architectures.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and enterprise software architecture.
